- 京都市動物園の話から。
平成23年12月21日に母「ゲンキ」と父「モモタロウ」の間に誕生した「ゲンタロウ」君。
「ゲンキ」の母乳がでていなかったようで、５日目に著しい衰弱が認められたため、やむなく人が育てることになりました。
生後10箇月以上経過し、自力で固形物を食べるようになり、ミルクへの依存度が減っていること。
母親「ゲンキ」とのお見合いの中では「ゲンキ」が「ゲンタロウ」をゴリラの子どもとして認識し、親和的な態度をとっていることから同居を始めるのに最適な時期と判断しました。
最終的には父親「モモタロウ」とも一緒にし、群れで暮らす様子を来園者に見ていただける状況を目指しています。
遅くなりましたが、動物園に行ってまいりました。
動画でご覧の通り「ゲンタロウ」はすくすく育っているようですね。
父のモモタロウはまだ我が子を抱かせて貰ってないのだろうなと、そんなことを考えながら見てきました。

A 9 anos atrás Gentaro era um bebe e Genki já era a mãe mais maravilhosa!
E a outra criancinha -Kentaro-estava no calcanhar do sapo.

Wonder if she will let Kentaro down on the ground like she did with Gentaro at this age. Hope so we all want to see Kentaro free of his Moms arms. Gentaro is a cute baby and playful too. Love the video.
Genki não desprezou gentarinho , mais também não foi carinhosa com ele como é com kintarinho... percebe-se que ela é muito fria com gentaro desde bebê.. Mais o importante é que querendo ou não Gentarinho cresceu com a sua mãe protetora ..Eu amo gentarinho, meu gorila preferido...,😘😘😘😁😁🥰🥰
Gentaro didn’t feed from her unfortunately and was away from her almost a his whole first year of life.. that’s a lot of mom/son bonding time he never got. Which sucks and now he sees how much differently he and Kintaro were raised and he gets jealous a lot and I really don’t blame him… it’s not his fault Genki wasn’t producing milk.

6 years later, Gentarou about 2 years old. Ok!! When Kintarou 2 years old I'll see Momotarou, Gentarou and Kintarou play together. 😁😁

Wow! People are pissed when they see their current enclosures but this enclosure is ridiculously horrible. I’m gonna chalk it up to they were possibly starting construction on their new enclosure hence this dilapidated space. How horrible for the new family and baby Gentaro. So glad they have a better living space now with some enrichment “toys” they can swing from now. No wonder I can barely find videos of baby Gentaro!

Actually they didn't build the new enclosure until 2017. 6 years later.

The amazing strenght of the gorilla, she can carry him like a sleeve and he can keep attached to her arm no matter what.
I couldn't believe they were in such a terrible condition. It's not a place for gorilla families. they are beautiful animals And they let it go this bad place.

Ich freue mich sehr über Videos wo Gentaro noch so klein ist ich sage immer Kintaro ist und bleibt für mich der süßeste kleine Gorilla den es gibt aber jetzt muss ich sagen das Gentaro genauso ein ganz besonderer kleiner Schatz war .Und heute ist Gentaro nicht nur ein schöner Gorilla Junge auf dem Weg zum Silverback er ist so ein ganz besonderer Gorilla für mich. @@Booboofuzzbucket 😂😂 I think you r Phyco...and you explain that a Phyco theory...mom's care and love u can't understand ,if a mother stuffing from her mental illness ,then mother can't forget her child..she forgets about her husband not child,.genki's behave didn't show that she force fully doing her babysitting...she knows that the baby is her own child..any mother could recognise their child with their smell..becoz of the. Bond u can't understand....

You can just tell Gentaro really missed out on that mom/son bond they develop early in their lives. I think he sees how differently he was raised compared to how Kintaro was raised and he gets jealous of it and lashes out at mom I think. It’s not his fault Genki wasn’t producing milk and needing to be fed from humans… poor guy.
no, she drove him away once she had the new baby just like she is keeping Gentaro away from his father in this video. It is just her crazy level of fear that was cruel to Gentaro and he acted against it.

Interesting to see Genki so thin compared to her now!! But she is anxious and keeps looking around all the time. Wonder what that is about??? One thing is her poop droppings and even location hasn’t changed a bit!!!

@@ЕленаАлексеева-р1с Полностью с Вами согласно, оч.заботливая мама. Единственное, что мне в Генки не нравится, так это её прожорливость, постоянно с жадностью много ест, способна у детей забрать и слопать последний кусочек. Старший уже может убежать и съесть тайком, а у младшего с ручкой отрывает. Я её пыталась оправдать тем, что она кормящая мама и ей надо питаться и даже то, что она не позволяет есть подобранное ребёнком с земли. Нет! Они за еду дерутся, никто не уступит другому ни крошки. Так у них видимо заведено.
@@ТатьянаПетровна-ч7ж Я заметила, что работница парка через решетку периодически кормит Кентаро кашей и кусочками фруктов. Так что малыш не обижен в еде. Он упитан. Скорее Генки не хватает питания, одну траву ест.
@@ЕленаАлексеева-р1с это обычная привычная еда взрослых горилл. Они травоядные. В детстве конечно рацион у них богаче, все таки растущие организмы, да и у Генки явно молочка маловато, титьки как пустые мешочки, вот и подкармливают их сотрудники. Гентаро вообще до года почти жил среди людей, у мамы не было молока. Поэтому он наверно умнее , общительнее, сообразительнее, чем Кинтаро. Вы видели, как он на компьютере шпарит? Это что то! Гений!
